Growing a tasty product on waste

The Bruges urban agriculture project “Kopjezwam” started in 2015.

They recover residual flows of coffee grit, coffee husk from local bars, roasters, breweries and grow products like mushrooms and microgreens on it.

They always work in empty unused spaces and together with Oranje (a social employment group), giving work to people to be reintegrated.
